Hi,
habe heute den Kernel 2.6.17.9 installiert.
Beim Booten kommt jetzt immer nur noch HIGH MEM, LOW MEM. Einige Zeit später startet GDM. Was muss ich einstellen, um alle Nachrichten (z.B. ob Festplatten geprüft werden, ob es Fehler beim starten gibt, usw.) beim Booten zu sehen?

hast du in der menu.lst von grub vielleicht was drin mit splash=silent oder splash=verbose?
Bin mir zwar nicht sicher, aber evtl. liegts ja daran das du die ganzen messages nicht siehst. Aber nicht schlagen wenns nicht stimmt *g*
