    Nachdem meine Röhre abgeraucht ist, habe ich nun meinen neu erworbenen TFT über DVI angeschlossen. Leider wird der Bildschirm einfach nur schwarz und es tut sich nichts mehr.

    Der ersatz Monitor war ein 17" Röhrenmonitor VGA, mit einer 1024 auflösung betrieben

    Der neue ist ein 22" LED TFT mit einer weit aus höheren standart einstellungen und per DVI angeklemmt

    Boot, Ubuntu im Grub starten -> schwarz
    Boot, Ubuntu recoverty Starten -> geht
    Win XP starten -> geht

    Ich vermute den Grafiktreiber oder eine nicht automatisch anpassende Einstellung

    GNOME ist mein Fenstermanadger
    Ubuntu 9.10 mein OS

    Ich hoffe mir kann jemand helfen =/

    Wow, das war ja ergiebig und ich hab gehofft, das es so einfach wird.

    Dann leg noch /var/log/Xorg.0.log und /var/log/messages drauf

    xserver-xorg-video-radeon installiert?

    Poste biite mal lsmod und welche Ubuntu Version hast du eigentlich?
    Gebe doch bitte noch den Typen deines Monitors an, denn evtl wird automatisch eine zu hohe hz Zahl der Auflösung zugewiesen.

    Ich habe nur den normal von ubuntu installierten "treiber" drauf, denke ich
    nachdem ich schon mal den treiber entfernen musste (Hab gewaltsam den ATI treiber installiert was zu nem fehler führte)

    sieht eh ganz brav aus.

    Mir ist der Latein auch ausgegangen, deswegen hab ich etwas in den tiefen weiten gestirdelt. Scheint so alsob das ein radeon bug ist. Die übliche Lösung dafür ist kms aufzudrehen, aber ka wie man das in ubuntu macht.

    naja meine 1950pro ist halt nicht mehr die jüngste, und hat keine ATI treiber

    ich google mal nach kms, vielen dank ^^

    gibt es eine datei wo ich die auflösung fest setzen kann?

    Das sind die Hz die falsch sind ! TFT max 60 Hz... deinstalliere deine graka mal komplett und starte die kiste neu. Normalerweise müsse deine Distro nen 0815 Treiber zum nächsten Start nutzen.

    Sry für die Versionsfrage, der fglrx (da du was von Gewalt und Ati schriebst). Den darfst du nicht installieren. Total nicht gut da er deine Grafikkarte kein Stück unterstützt, da kannst du genauso gut den Nvidiatreiber installieren. Der Catalyst 9.3 ist der letzte geeignete und dürfte mit dem laufenden Kernel zu 0% kompatibel sein. Für Grafikkarten unterhalb der HD Serie gibts den freien radeontreiber.

    ja, das wusste ich hinterher auch ^^
    aber danke für für den hinweis, zum glück habe ich ne konsolenbasierte deinstalationsanleitung gefunden.
    seit langem läuft der pc wieder. das problem hier ist leider neu

    es läuft nur der 0815 treiber, zumindest erinnere ich mich nicht einen installiert zu haben.


    könnte das helfen?

    Ja ka ob die Syntax stimmt aber so was hilft nur noch außer du erstellst manuell eine Xorg.conf.
    Der Radeontreiber ist schon vorinstalliert, also hast du schon den einzigen und besten Treiber den es für die Graka gibt.

    so... der hat ständig gebracht "kann display nicht öffnen"
    wenn ich xrandr versucht habe

    durch das dvi-0 bin ich auf die idee gekommen der konfiguriert jeden dvi anschluss einzeln

    dvi kabel umgesteckt, geht.

    ich danke für eure Hilfe :))

    btw. beim umstecken wärend des betriebes bleibt der montor schwarz und blinkt. Ich vermute mal der initialisiert nur ein mal beim start, der treiber

    Seltsam, dac läuft und hat auch gecheckt welcher monitor angeschlossen ist und welcher nicht. Es steht in deiner Xorg.0.log, dass er einen Monitor auf DVI-0 gefunden hat und auf DVI-1 nicht. Du solltest den Bugtracker vom radeon treiber durchsuchen, ob es das Problem schon gibt und falls nicht auf jeden Fall einen Bug report schreiben.
