meinte SuSE 8.0 NASA Bootsplash klappt auch nicht..

Also das Marsbild funktioniert OHNE Probleme !

Leider scheint es aber ab und zu Probleme mit SuSEs mkinitrd/lilo zu geben.

Ich hatte das Bild zum Testen drinn .. und es lief, aber nachdem ich das Bild gelöscht hatte, und nochmal reinkopiert hatte, ging es nicht mehr !

Jetzt gehts wieder ... sehr komisch, liegt aber nicht am Bild !!!

Dat Prob kenn ich.
Habt ihr beim booten auch die Fehlermeldung

bootsplash blah blah blah picture dekompression fail ??

Es wird bei mir der Fehlercode 11 ausgegeben, nur kann ich damit nichts anfangen. Hab auch in der doku nichts über Fehlercodes gefunden.
Kann damit jemand was anfangen?

Ich trau mich schon kaum mehr eine ANfrage auf ein Image für 640x480 zu stellen.

Hab hier so nen schnuckligen 12"er, der nur diese Auflösung anständig verträgt.

Das resizen der Grafik ist kein Problem, aber woher weiß ich nun, welche x-/y-Werte in die 640.480er-Config müssen?

Sowas kannst du mit einem Bildbearbeitungsprogramm (gimp, photoshop) nach"messen".

(tx, ty) are the (x, y) coordinates of the text window in pixels.

z.B.
tx=2
ty=6
tw=636
th=442


Je nachdem für welchen Bild kannst du das dann abmessen und anpassen ...
