    Soo ich hab den oben genannten Wlan Stick schön brav mit Ndiswrapper und Yast installiert der ist jetzt auch als wlan0 erkannt nur wie gehts weiter mit diesem KDE Tool KWiFi bekomm ich nichts hin das meint nur das würde den Stick net erkennen und der Networkmanager findet kein Netz!

    Kann mir einer helfen wenn ihr weiter Infos braucht einfach sagen kommen sofort , schnell hilfe wäre gute bin bis 24 Uhr noch daa!

    HALLO HILFE komm net weiter! Ein Problem ist das Lämpchen an dem Stick will auch net leuchten wie unter Windows?

    hmm... es sieht aber nicht so aus also ob die karte als wlan0 erkannt wird.
    weder ifconfig noch iwconfig zeigt dieses interface an.

    beachte die bemerkungen von ndiswrappen auf der seite http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/index.php/List#N (punkt 19 bis 22) für deine karte.

    hast du die ndiswrapper konfiguration wie in der anleitung unter http://de.opensuse.org/SDB:Ndiswrapper vorgenommen?

    was sagt den:
    wurden den das ndiswrapper modul den wirklich und richtig geladen?
    zeigt lsmod (als root) das modul an?
    wie sieht die dmesg-ausgabe beim laden des modules aus?

    wenn das alles stimmt...dann müstest du in der lage sein mit der oben genannten anleitung ein wlan-verbindung aufzubauen :]

    also, poste man die antworten auf die offenen fragen :oldman:

    Hoffe dir helfen diese Ausgaben weiter um das Problem zu lösen ich hab eigentlich alles so gemacht wie in den Tutorials beschrieben aber danke schonmal das du wieder hilfst!:))

    Ich hab auch mal soo überlegt Ich hab Suse 10.1 86x_64 installiert also 64bit vielleicht hängst ja auch da dran?

    naja, so war das eigentlich nicht gedacht. es wären nur die relevanten teil von lsmod und dmesg gefragt gewesen. man kann nicht erwarten dass das anderer tun sollen :-D

    modprobe scheint geladen zu sein:
    aber beim laden der windows-treiber scheint es probleme zu geben :]

    64bit-linux aber wohl keine 64bit-windowstreiber! das könnt ein problem sein :]

    Ja danke das wird das Problem sein leider gibbet für den Stick keine Windows 64 Bit Treiber also verschissen!

    Hab hier aber noch en alten D-Link DWL 122 rum liegen der müsste en Prism 2 Chipsatz haben mal schaun ob ich es damit hinbekomm!

    So da ich natürlich den DWL auch net ans laufen bekomm weil ich zu blöd bin muss mir der arme damager noch mal helfen aber ich werde versuchen mit gutem Dienst an der Community die Mühe wieder wett zu machen!

    was sagt das syslog (/var/log/messages) bzw. dmesg an dieser stelle?

    das wirklich relevante ist:

    aber IMHO braucht man für prism-karte das paket wlan-ng.
    siehe auch das zitat unter http://de.opensuse.org/SDB:Wireless_LAN_mit_SuSE_Linux:
    mangels so einer karte kann ich das nicht bestätigen aber sicher jemadn anders hier. ggf. auch mal die boardsuche nach prism bemühen.

    Unter Suse10.1 habe ich mit ndiswrapper einen Netgear USB Stick WG111v2 sichtbar mit lsusb! Es ist die Version mit dem korrekten Chipsatz, der unterstützt wird:

    Zur Zeit habe ich meine eth0 LAN Karte auch in der Fbox hängen, um online gehen zu können! Nun soll aber der PC auf eine andere Etage per WLAN! Am Zielort ist der Empfang für ein WIN-Laptap mit gleichen Netgear KEIN Problem: Empfang 54mbit/s mit 60%+ Signal..

    Beim Booten leuchtet die blaue Diode auch korrekt auf:


    Nun, wenn es gut klappt findet der rechner das WLAN Netz nach 5min und dann gebe ich den WPA Schlüssel wieder ein im GUI und er sagt immer IP=0.0.0.0 und Netzwerk unaktiv und Gerät unaktiv!!





    Will ich nun den gateway pingen mit ping fritz.box oder ping 192.168.178.1 NETWORK UNREACHABLE!

    habe auch schon route add default gw 192.168.178.1 gemacht ohne Erfolg! hat das was mit IP-Forwarding zu tun oder wieso bekommt die WLAN Karte nach Eingabe des WPA Keyn KEINE DCHP Zuweisung wie meine LAN Karte???


    Muss was in /etc/hosts evtl. verändert werden? ich bitte um Hilfe und vorab schönes Wochenende....
