Realist
Moin,

Gentoo System zum ersten mal aufgesetzt,
Kernel mit "genkernel -all" compiliert,
xorg-x11 Server mit "emerge xorg-x11" aufgesetzt,
xorg.conf.new mit "xorg -configure" erstellt, keine Fehler ausser einem falschen Maus device was schnell behoben war,
"X -config /root/xorg.conf.new" gibt das:

Code:
(EE) VESA(0): unknown type(0xffffffff)=0xff
(EE) Screen(s) found but none have a usable configuration.

Code:
(EE) VESA(0): unknown type(0xffffffff)=0xff
(EE) Screen(s) found but none have a usable configuration.

Treiber auf "radeon" ergibt das:

Code:
(EE) Failed to load module "radeon" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE)No drivers available

Dann funktioniert "X -config /root/xorg.conf.new" allerdings in viel zu geringer aufloesung

Code:
(EE) VGA(0): Driver can't support depth 24
(EE) Screen(s) found but none have a usable configuration.

Fatal server error:
no screens found
XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on x server ":0.0"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining

Code:
(EE) VESA(0): unknown type(0xffffffff)=0xff
(EE) Screen(s) found but none have a usable configuration.

/etc/make.conf sieht so aus:

Code:
# These settings were set by the catalyst build script that automatically built this stage
# Please consult /etc/make.conf.example for a more detailed example
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=i686 -pipe"
CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
MAKEOPTS="-j2"
USE="-gtk -gnome qt kde dvd alsa cdr"

http://72http://72.14.221.104/search?q=cache:q3Szf4fo2YcJ:www.linuxforen.de/forums/showthread.php%3Ft%3D203799+Xorg+%223D+Rage+Pro+AGP%22&hl=de&gl=de&ct=clnk&cd=2&client=firefox-a
http://groups.google.de/group/de.comp.os.unix.linux.hardware/browse_thread/thread/72791b135dcb6093/89498ea5dcc7558b%2389498ea5dcc7558b

Code:
(EE)Failed to load module "ati" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE) No drivers available.

*imzimmeraufundabhuepf*
Aber dayu musste ich schummeln. Hab mir ne Matrox Millenium g200 ausm rechner vom Sperrmuell eingebaut.

2. Konqueror laed keine Bilder so das das board hier echt mager aussieht.
//EDIT Anscheinend nur keine .gif Bilder

Code:
Was ist mit der Unterstützung von GIF-Dateien?

Siehe http://docs.kde.org/stable/de/kdebase/faq/install.html#gif
