Grub Bootreihenfolge ändern.

Hab schon ein wenig im Forum herumgestöbert und auch unmengen an Info zu dem Thema gefunden. Doch leider hab ich mir das nicht so recht erschlossen. Deshalb noch einmal die ermüdende Frage zur Bootreihenfolge. Was muss ich in meiner
menu.lst ändern das Windows standardmäßig startet.

Win zuerst booten

Hallo


Schau mal in deine /boot/menu.lst

Da gibt es einen Eintrag, im oberen Dritttel der Datei
default xy

du mußt den Eintrag editieren und auf default 2 setzen

da Win an 3. Stelle in deinem Menü steht und grub bei 0 anfängt zu zählen, ist default 2 der Eintrag der Win als 1. Os booten läßt.

es muß heißen

default 2

timeout 5 ( bootet nach 5 sec den default Eintrag.


Da der Win Eintrag an 3. Stelle im Bootmenü steht, mußt es heißen

default 2

ob du timeout auf 5 sec läßt, mußt du wissen, wäre für mcih zu eng, ich habe bei mir timeout 20 drin.

Alternativ hätte man auch die Reihenfolge der Einträge ändern können, so dass das System zuerst steht, das per Default gebootet werden soll. Viele Wege führen nach Rom. ;)
