ziemliche probleme mit den modulen ... Function not implemented

Hi Leute,

folgendes problem, habe ein neu aufgestezten (dedicated) debian woody (stable) system. kernel: 2.4.21

wollte nun iptables einrichten ... ich also # iptables -L
iptables v1.2.6a: can't initialize iptables table `filter': iptables who? (do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.


oha, nagut dann halt auf v1.2.8 updaten ... *such* *find* *saug* lynx und download --> fertig, jetzt nurnoch in den kernel einbinden und .... doch dann:

QM_MODULES: Function not implemented

ich alles durchgetestet was mit modulen zu tun hat doch überall der gleiche fehler:

# depmod -ea
depmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented

# lsmod
Module Size Used by Not tainted
lsmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented


und weiter gehts

bei eingabne von # modprobe
modprobe: Can't open dependencies file /lib/modules/2.4.21/modules.dep (No such file or directory)

egal welches modul ich danach angebe.

bei # modconf
bekomm ich nur folgendes fenster (aber keine auswahlmöglichkeit)

was stimmt den hier nicht? (das system ist neu aufgestezt)

glaubt ihr die module-init-tools würden helfen? ... sind doch aber eighentlich fürn 2.6er

Jo versuchs mal. Kannst ja den kompatiblitätsmodus beim configure angeben dann hast eh die alten module tools auch noch.
