Hallo zusammen.
Ein altes Thema mal wieder. Aber ich bekomme es mit Google und Co. leider nicht gelöst.
Vielleicht weiß einer von euch Rat.
Der Ruhezustand (Suspend to Ram) funktioniert einwandfrei.
Da der aber auch Strom verbraucht, möchte ich nachts und während der Arbeitszeit den Tiefschlaf (Hibernate, Suspend to disk) verwenden.
Das klappte bislang auch ganz gut. Seit einiger Zeit jedoch (vermutlich nach einem Update) nicht mehr.
Zur Situation:
Nach der Aktivierung des Tiefschlafs erscheint der Splash mit der Fortschittsanzeige. Die geht aber nicht sehr weit. Dann erscheinen einige Zeilen Fehlermeldung, die ich bisher aber leider in keinem Logfile finden konnte. Danach macht der PC nichts mehr. Es bleibt nur ihn mit der Powertaste auszuschalten. Beim nächsten Start fährt er wie gewohnt hoch - also nicht in die letzte Sitzung, sondern wie nach einem regulären Shutdown.

Die 2 GB-Swap hatte ich dummerweise bei der Installation zu klein angelegt und musste nachher dann am Ende der Platte eine neue Swap-Partition anfügen um den Hibernate nutzen zu können (blöder Anfängerfehler...) Danach hat's aber auch erstmal tadellos funktioniert.

Welche Abhängigkeit könnte da fehlen? Ich habe mit Yast alles geprüft; alles OK.

Das mit dem PCSCD habe ich auch schon registriert. Allerdings handelt es sich dabei wohl um einen Bug, den man bis zum Bugfix so hinnehmen muss. Das habe ich zumindest mal in einem Forum gelesen. Es wurde nichts darüber berichtet, dass das zu weiteren Problemen führen könnte.

Das mit dem PCSCD habe ich auch schon registriert. Allerdings handelt es sich dabei wohl um einen Bug, den man bis zum Bugfix so hinnehmen muss. Das habe ich zumindest mal in einem Forum gelesen. Es wurde nichts darüber berichtet, dass das zu weiteren Problemen führen könnte.
