hi, sry das ich das thema anschneide, ist ja schon zu dutzenden behandelt worden. aber ich schlage mich jetzt schon seit ein paar tagen mit dem blöden nvidia installer herum und komme einfach nicht weiter. ich poste hier mal die log.

gcc make und neuste kernel sources habe ich installiert. ich habe irgendwo einen thread gefunden wo jemand sagt, man müsse eine verknüpfung zwschen /usr/src/linux und /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4 machen, aber ich weiss nicht so recht was das heissen soll.
wäre super wenn mir wer helfen könnte.

Besorg dir einfach den neusten Treiber von NVidia - Version 9xxx.
Ältere Versionen haben immer Problem mit neueren Kerneln.
 
das geht leider nicht, da ich einen dell-laptop habe mit einer nvidia 4400 go oder so. da geht nur der 6111-treiber.

wäre toll wenn du mir helfen könntest.

Es gibt auch den Legacy Treiber, der ältere Karten unterstützt. Obwohl ich mir relativ sicher bin, dass die 4er Serie von NVidia noch vom 9xxx Treiber unterstützt wird. Falls nicht, solltest du zum Legacy Treiber greifen - der liegt in Version 7184 vor:

Welcher es auch immer wird - Version 6111 wird wohl nur mit einem älteren Kernel funktionieren.
 
ich hab nochmal nachgesehen. und du hast recht. die wird noch unteerstützt. ich hab das mit dem windows-treiber verwechselt. danke vielmals
