Debian 3.0 Mini-ISO

Hier gibts ein 185 MB großes ISO mit dem ihr die wichtigsten Teile von Debian 3.0 installieren könnt. Der Rest geht natürlich über Internetverbindung

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES

You need to edit /etc/apt/sources.list to change "stable" to "woody"
(or "testing&quot and update the available file before running tasksel.
Install as normal; when you get the "Do you want to run tasksel"
prompt:

1. Change to another virtual console (Alt-F2)
2. Log in as root
3. Edit /etc/apt/sources.list to change all cases of "stable" to
"woody" or "testing".
(Do not change the cdrom line, however; this may confuse apt.)
4. Type "dselect update"
5. Log out and change back to the original console (Alt-F1)
6. Proceed as normal from there.

hmm,

leider ist das alles noch immer Beta, aufem Linuxtag die CD ist leider auchnoch Beta Soviel zum Thema 1.Mai Finalrelease

Eben. Davon abgesehen kann man verdammt schnell von "testing" auf "stable" updaten. Ist doch das geile an Debian

ist ja nicht gleich "instabil"
woody rennt absolut spitze!!!

PS: die netzinstallation klappt auch mit jeder debian CD...
...einfach bei der installation als quelle das web angeben
