Creative Labs SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS unter Debian / Kernel 3.16

Hallo zusammen

Beim verwendeten Gerät handelt es sich um eine Sun Ultra 45, also SPARC-Plattform.
Die Karte wird angezeigt bei den Audio-Einstellungen, unter Ausgabegeräte finde ich allerdings nur ein "Dummy Output Device"...?

"alsa" sowie "pulseaudio" sind installiert, aplay -l gibt gfolgendes aus:

Keine Ahnung, was Du mit "Audio-Einstellungen" meinst.
Was passiert denn, wenn Du mit aplay eine WAV-Datei abspielst? Oder z.B. mit mplayer ein mp3 ... ?

Es passiert gar nix, da der Ton auf das Dummy Device "umgeleitet" wird.

Mit den "Audio-Einstellungen" meine ich das hier, da sollte nix mit "Dummy" drin sein, sondern SB Extigy Output oder was in der Art:

Gleiches Problem mit dem USB-Soundblaster. ("Extigy")

Nachtrag: Auch bei "Lautsprecher testen" kann ich JEDEN Kanal testen, es kommt kein Ton dabei raus,,,

Schau mal, ob Dein Benutzer der Gruppe audio oder pulse zugeordnet ist (/etc/group)

folgendes habe ich gemacht:

adduser USERNAME pulse
adduser USERNAME pulse-access
adduser USERNAME audio


...in der Gruppe "audio" war der User bereits.

Hat leider keine Wirkung gezeigt, immer noch das Dummy-Output-Device drin.

Für was wird eigentlich das Modul "snd-dummy" per default geladen? Für Anwendungen, welche unbedingt eine Soundkarte benötigen um zu laufen, auch wenn keine drin ist?

Steht im syslog was zum Thema pulseaudio?

snd-dummy ist hier nicht geladen ... sollte bei Dir auch eher snd-emu10k1 sein ...

Ja, sogar einen Kaltstart gemacht ;-) (Beim OS-Neustart werden dem Kernel durch den Open Boot Prompt gewisse Parameter vorenthalten, deshalb)

Dass snd-dummy geladen ist, habe ich selbst nicht gesehen, ich ging allerdings davon aus. Muss mich korrigieren, stimmt nicht, dafür ist snd-emu10k1 geladen, was eigentlich das richtige wäre.

Werde mal schauen wegen dem syslog...
