Nach der Umstellung von Static auf DHCP habe ich folgende virtuelle NIC, in der Ausgabe von ifconfig:

eth0:0    Protokoll:Ethernet  Hardware Adresse 00:E0:18:FC:25:A3
          inet Adresse:192.168.2.100  Bcast:192.168.2.255  Maske:255.255.255.0
          UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST  MTU:1500  Metric:1
          Interrupt:19 Basisadresse:0x9800

Ist ja soweit nicht schlimm. Das Problem ist aber, dass ich nicht auf meinen Server connecten kann, solange das Ding up ist.

ifconfig eth0:0 down

Soweit, so gut. Aber nach jedem Reboot ist sie wieder da.

grep -r 'eth0:0' /etc/*

brachte keine Ergebnisse.

In der /etc/network/interfaces ist sie auch nicht eingetragen:

In der /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf auch nicht:

Wie werde ich das verfluchte Ding los? Die muss doch irgendwo definiert sein?

Vielleicht ist das Interface über eine udev-Regel definiert, schau mal in die Richtung.

Gelöst:

Direkt nach diesem Post hae ich mir die /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf nochmal genauer angesehen.
Meine IP, die DHCP meiner NIC zuweist:

eth0      Protokoll:Ethernet  Hardware Adresse 00:E0:18:FC:25:A3
          inet Adresse:192.168.2.10[COLOR="Red"]1[/COLOR]  Bcast:192.168.2.255  Maske:255.255.255.0

Und der Eintrag in der /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf :

alias {
  interface "eth0";
  fixed-address 192.168.2.10[COLOR="Red"]0[/COLOR];
  option subnet-mask 255.255.255.0;
}

Habe ich geändert auf

alias {
  interface "eth0";
  fixed-address 192.168.2.10[COLOR="Red"]1[/COLOR];
  option subnet-mask 255.255.255.0;
}

Und schon gehts.
