Bildschirmauflösung (mal wieder)

Hallo!

Ich glaube, eine oft gestellte Frage wird noch mal gestellt. Verzeihung, konnte aber nichts Hilfreiches finden und darum ein neues Thema :brav:

Also ich bekomme die Bildschirmauflösung nicht hin, da tut sich einfach nichts. Nvidia-Treiber installiert (ich habe eine GeForce2 MX/MX 400). Unter Yast kann ich meine gewünschte Auflösung (1152x864) auswählen, aber nichts passiert. Auch unter dem KDE-Kontrollzentrum ist die Auflösung anwählbar, da allerdings kann ich nur bis 60 Hz einstellen.
Das Problem hatte ich übrigens auch bei Kubunte... konnte es aber mit Einfügen in der xorg.conf mit Modeline "1152x864@85.00" 119.65 1152 1224 1352 1552 864 865 868 907 -HSync +Vsync und Modes "1152x864@85.00" "1600x1200" "1152x864" "1024x768" "800x600" mein Problem lösen. Habe das gleiche dann auch mal hier versucht, aber es tut sich nichts

Wo liegt nun mein Problem? Sorry, bin totale Anfängerin ?(

öffne mal sax2 und stelle es bei deiner grafikkarte ein. so hats bei mir geklappt. musst dann rebooten dann sollte es klappen
 
Probier mal folgendes: Mach eine Konsole auf und tippe xrandr ein. Jetzt sollte eine Liste von Auflösungen kommen, jeweils mit einer Nummer davor
Dann gibst Du
xrandr -s nummer
ein (numer natürlich mit der nummer der gewünschen Auflösung ersetzen). Jetzt sollte die Auflösung umgestellt werden.
 
unter sax2 habe ich es ja schon probiert... die richtige auflösung ist eingestellt... aber nix...
und beim vorschlag von Hello World tut sich auch nichts :-/

ach ja, warum ist bei meiner gewünschten auflösung die bildwiederholungsrate so gering? geht von 50 bis 60, aber ich bräuchte 85 hz

wo ist denn bei mir eigentlich das problem? was zickt rum? mein monitor? meine grafik-karte?
