was machen, wenn kein soundmodul geladen wird, keine soundkaret gefunden wird?
ohne modul hab ich gehört, dass man nen eigenen kernel brauch...

dis: installiertes knoppix 5.0, sprich debian ???

soundkarte1: typhoon acoustic 6
immer erkannt: c-media

soundkarte2: onboard nvidia...

versuche: den aktuellen alsatreiber installiert, configuriert, weiteres paket für alsa gedownloadet, configuriert, noch ein paket gedownloadet, configuriert...

fehlerquelle:
soundkarten werden erkannt, aber wenn sieconfiguriert werden sollen,
haben sie eine "invalid card number"
mir ist egal, welche der beiden läuft, hauptsache, ich hab sound!
aber wenn DIE fehlerquelle gefunden wird, dann doch lieber die 1.
 
Vielleicht musst du die Onboard-karte im Bios deaktivieren, damit er nur eine findet...
 
Was geschieht denn wenn du alsamixer startest? Oder meinst du das mit konfigurieren.

ich habe zum konfigurieren das genommen, was mir deb vorschlägt.
das hat einen festen eintrag im menü der befehl lautet:
su-to-root -p root -c /usr/sbin/alsaconf
und das ganze sieht mir ziemlich fachmännisch aus (keine aufwendige graphische oberfläche...)

als ich den alsamixer gestartet habe, ist zur info, ich habs näm glei ausprobiert, nix passiert
 
0. Welche Distribution wird verwendet?
1. Ich würde erstmal den Onboardsound deaktivieren.
2. Die Kernelkonfiguration ansehen, ob ALSA eingeschaltet ist.
3. mit lsmod testen, welche Kernelmodule geladen worden sind.

bloß weil du sie unter linux nicht zum laufen bringst (was ja verschiedene ursachen haben kann), muss das nicht heissen das sie im bios deaktiviert ist.
also kuck mal im bios.

bevor du das nächste mal sowas fragst, kuck ob es eine man-page dazu gibt.

du solltest mal schauen ob die alsa-treiber geladen sind.

z.b. mit lsmod

alternativ kannst du auch mal ein

dmesg | grep alsa

in der konsole machen und die ausgabe hier posten und / oder die von lsmod
