Grafik Einstellungen FC4 Acer Extensa 2300

Hallo Leute,

ich bin fast m verzweifeln, ich habe eine Acer Extensa 2300 mit einem
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Grap
hics Device (rev 02)

Leider habe ich bis jetzt noch nichtt geschafft, die Auflösung meines Diplays auf 1280x800 einzustellen. Ich habe es schon mit dem Tool 855resolution probiert und mir den aktuellen i810.drv.o runtergeladen und installiert. Aber egal was ich mache meine Auflösung geht nur auf 1024x768 bei 60h . Vieleicht hat ja einer von Euch noch eine Idee was ich machen kann.

Kannst du uns mal verraten, welch ein Grafikchip dort verbaut wurde, oder welche Grafikkarte?

Hast du mal versucht von Hand die xorg.conf zu editieren und dann den X-Server neu gestartet?

Hallo,

also als Chip ist der 855Gm.

Ich habe auch die xorg.conf angepasst und den Xserver neu gestartet.
Aber leider ohne erfolg.

Was ich jetzt noch probiert habe: Treiber bei intel geladen (tar Ball) enpackt und versucht mit make zu kompelieren. Jetzt bekomme ich da folgende Fehlermeldung

Weis da jemand ob ich nochwas nach Installieren muss oder ob ich das noch eine config vor der Kompelierung anpassen muss.
