Was ist anders an Fedora?

Hallo

Ich bin ein N00b in sachen Linux, muss jetzt aber lernen mit linux umzugehen deshalb habe ich mir ein paar bücher zugelegt und ein Redhat installiert nun stelle ich fest das es eine neues Linux von ihnen gibt das Fedora heist. Wie soll ich das verstehen, ist Fedora besser oder schlechter und gehen rpm packs die eigentlich für Redhat sind auch für Fedora?

Fedora ist nicht weiteres als Redhat.

Redhat hat vor ein paar Monaten lediglich die Entwicklung in eine freies Projekt ausgegliedert - also Fedora = Redhat .

Hmm komisch ich frage mich wirklich ob das die Antwort für meine Frage ist, ich habe eigentlich nicht gefragt was Fedora ist sondern ob es besser ist und ob rpm packete von Redhat auch auf Fedora laufen, die Seite von Fedora kenne ich auch habe mir dort das system geladen.

Aber nichts für ungut vieleicht beantwortet mir jemand die frage.

Also ich kann in denn Threads nicht erkennen wo die Antwort auf meine Frage zweite frage rpm packete von Redhat auch auf Fedora laufen zu finden ist.

Also wenn Fedora Redhat ist .

Dann heisst das =

Fedorapakete sind Redhatpakete.

Wenn Du meinst ob aktuelle Fedorapakete auch unter alten Redhatversionen laufen dann kommt es auf das Paket an !
