urxvt: häßliche Seitenränder bei tabs

Ich habe 2 kleine Probleme mit urxvt.

Folgende Einstellungen in der .Xdefaults:

URxvt.scrollBar: false
URxvt.saveLines: 10000
URxvt.inheritPixmap: true
URxvt.foreground: gray
URxvt.background: blue
URxvt.tabbed.tabbar-fg: 2
URxvt.tabbed.tabbar-bg: 4
URxvt.tabbed.tab-fg: 3
URxvt.tabbed.tab-bg: 0
URxvt.tabbed.scrollBar: false
URxvt.tabbed.perl-ext-common: mark-urls,tabbed
URxvt.tabbed.inheritPixmap: true

Ich rufe urxvt wie folgt aus:

urxvt -pe tabbed,digital-clock

Leider habe ich jetzt häßliche Ränder:

Warum ist nur ein teil transparent, nicht alles?
Und wie kann ich die tab-leiste Transparent machen?

Wenn ich kein tabbing verwende läuft alles bestens...
