Upgrade nach Xorg 7.2: Xinerama kaputt

Hi!

Ich habe Xorg von 7.1 auf Version 7.2 upgegradet, und mein vorher perfekt funktionierendes Xinerama mit zwei TFTs an einer Grafikkarte geht jetzt nicht mehr. xorg.conf habe ich nicht geaendert. Folgende Datei zeigt jetzt auf beiden Bildschirmen das gleiche an:
(Bei Fragen warum diese Konfigurationsdatei ueberhaupt funktioniert hat, fragt mich nicht, ich hab die nur kopiert und etwas modifiziert...)

Mit der Hilfe von http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=301951 habe ich jetzt eine neue xorg.conf geschrieben, die auch nicht geht *g*. Einer der beiden Monitore zeigt ein Bild an, der andere ist im Standby-Modus (bekommt also gar kein Signal, im Gegensatz zu obiger Konfiguration, wo beide das gleiche bekommen). Ausserdem geht die Konsole nicht mehr richtig: Wenn ich den Xserver kille oder zur Konsole wechsle, erscheint kein Prompt mehr, sondern nur noch ein schwarzer Bildschirm (das Problem habe ich mit obiger Konfiguration nicht).

Ich moechte eine grosse Arbeitsflaeche verteilt ueber beide Bildschirme haben. Tipps was hier falsch ist, oder wo ich nach Informationen suchen sollte?

Bist Du mit Deinem Problem voran gekommen?
Ich stehe nämlich gerade vor dem gleichen Problem wie Du!
 
Tut mir leid, ich habe in einem anderen Board und in der Xorg-Mailinglist gefragt und keine hilfreiche Antwort bekommen. Ich hoffe dass sich das Problem mit dem naechsten Xorg-Update erledigt, ich verwende seit 3 Wochen nur noch einen Monitor.
(Wenn du eine Loesung findest schreib' mir doch bitte 'ne Mail.)
 
Auch ein Update auf aktuellste experimental-Quellen hat nicht geholfen.
 
Mal doof gefragt:

Mir ist klar, das das keine tolle Lösung ist, aber warum downgradest du dann nicht wieder auf 7.1 und wartest mit dem upgrade bis zur nächsten Version?
 
Ich habe alle Quellen bis auf etch deaktiviert, xorg deinstalliert und anschliessend erneut installiert, jetzt geht's wieder - nur halt mit aelterer Xorg-Version. Danke fuer eure Hilfe!
