Ubuntu - USB-Platte wird nicht erkannt

Hi miteinander,

ich habe das Problem, dass meine neue 1,5 TB/USB/Platte nicht erkannt wird, die Platte ist noch nicht formatiert.
In var&log7messages steht ywar was, aber fdisk gibt nichts aus, hat jemand eine gute Idee_

Dein Linux, kann die Partitionstabelle der Festplatte nicht auswerten. Sind da schon Daten drauf, z.B. von Windows aus kopiert, oder ist sie noch komplett leer?

vielleicht mal den fdisk richtig aufrufen

fdisk /dev/sdc

und die fdisk manpage lesen, Zitat:

-l List the partition tables for the specified devices and then exit. If no devices are given, those mentioned in /proc/partitions (if that exists) are used.
