nach längerer Pause kein Internet mehr

Hallo zusammen
ich habe unter Ubuntu das folgende Problem. Ich habe einen Netgear WLAN Router, an dem mein Rechner aber über Kabel angeschlossen ist. Ein ASUS MB A8V-VM, mit integrierter Lan Schnittstelle. Nun ist es so, wenn ich länger nicht im Internet gewesen bin, so geht wahrscheinlich meine eth0 in den Ruhezustand und nach dem Wecken, gibt es keine Verbindung mehr zu dem Router. Ich kann dann das Netzwerk zwar wieder aktivieren, Ubuntu meldet dann auch wieder ein aktives Netzwerk, jedoch kann ich meinen Router nicht mehr ansprechen. Die Eingabe http://192.168.0.1 ergibt nur eine Fehlermeldung in Firefox.
Auch das deaktivieren von acpi in der menu.lst hat keinen Erfolg gebracht. Wie kann ich es handhaben, daß die Karte (eth0) garnicht erst in den Ruhezustand geht? Oder habe ich eine andere Möglichkeit?

Ich schieß mal ins Blaue: Hast Du schonmal geschaut, wie das im BIOS aussieht? Kannst Du dort standby-einstellungen etc. regeln? Dann läßt sich das Problem vielleicht dort beheben.

Ansonsten wäre die Ausgabe von

Hallo, ich habe das selbe Problem.
Nach suspend to ram habe ich MANCHMAL keine Netzwerkverbindung mehr. Das Netzwerksymbol im Gnome-Panel zeigt an, dass versucht wird eine Netzwerkadresse zu beziehen.

Kurz zur Infrastruktur: Laptop unter Ubuntu 7.04 per Ethernet-Kabel an Netgear LAN/WLAN-Router ins Internet. Router ist als DHCP-Server und DNS konfiguriert. Internet per DSL.

Wie man sieht, wird hier sogar die ip-Adresse korrekt zugewiesen, dann bleibt das script hängen. Ein Aufruf von dhclient bestätigt das, ip-Adresse wird zugewiesen.
Wieso wird die routing-Tabelle nicht richtig gesetzt?

Das Problem tritt nicht immer auf, wovon das abhängt konnte ich noch nicht erkennen. Ein erster Versuch zeigt, dass das Problem auch bei Verwendung von eth1, der WLAN-Schnittstelle genauso auftreten kann.

Versuch mal nach dem Stoppen aller Verbindungen und _vor_ den erneuten Aufbau mittels dhclient Folgendes:

1. Alle anderen dhcp-Prozesse killen und auch die pid-Files in /var/run zu löschen.

2. Wenn das nicht klappt, dann Modul der Karte einmal entladen/laden.

naja, versuchs mal mit restart, er sagts doch klar, dass schon ein solcher prozess läuft, also warum soll er nochmal einen starten? du willst in ja restarten ...

hehe, klar, restart hatte ich auch gemacht. Als das nicht ging, habe ich networking gestoppt um zu sehen ob das klappt. Das ging auch. Da beim anschliesenden start die ausgaben die gleichen wie beim restart waren, hab ich halt die kopiert.
Der Fehler tritt nur sporadisch auf. die letzten drei suspends hat er brav mitgemacht. Ich schreib hier wieder rein was passiert, wenns passiert ;-)
So, hab das vorige posting entsprechend geändert, damit niemand mehr rüber stolpert.
