LVM Partition verkleinern

Moin,

ich hab nen knapp 600G großes LVM, würde davon gern 100G abknüpfen. Ist das Möglich?

was ich benötige, ist noch eine Partition, wo dann Windows drauf muss. Das System kam so ausgeliefert und wollte es ungern neu machen und außerdem will man ja auch noch was lernen ... Neu installieren kann jeder.

Also was ich versucht, bzw gemacht habe, ist das ich das LV verkleinert habe. Allerdings scheitert es jetzt daran, die VG zu verkleinern und daraus eine neue Partition "herauszubrechen". Hat irgendwer einen Tipp, wie ich das anstellen kann?

Kann mir da gparted weiterhelfen?

Und noch eine weitere Frage, warum bekomm ich bei vgscan/lvscan etc immer so komische Fehler

also ich kam soweit, das ich zwar die LV-Volumes/VG und PV verkleinert hatte, aber ich konnte die LVM-Partition nicht verkleinern.

Am Ende war leider doch einen Neuinstallation notwendig.
