ipod lässt sich nicht einbinden

hallo erstmal....ich hab seit kurzem einen ipod nano 4gb...haba aber das problem das wenn ich ihn anschließe das er nicht erkannt wird hab auch schongtkpod installiert findet ih trotzdem nicht hab auch schon andere tools versucht hat aber nicht funktioniert...kann mir da jemand helfen???
 
Was sagt den dmesg nach dem du ihn angeschlossen hast? Wird er unter lsusb angezeigt?
 
unter lsusb wird er nicht angezeig also nur die hubs aber da sind bei beiden keine id vergeben ich ahb halt abaer auch bloßa n dem einen wa sdran also den ipod der andere ist leer
 
Und was sagt dmesg wenn du ihn anstöpselst?
 
naja wenn ich ihna nschließe und dann dmesg ausführe sieht man nicht besonderes
weißt du denn was da so ungefähr stehn müsste.... ich kenn mich nicht so gut damit aus
 
Bevor du ihn ansteckst führst du am Besten dmesg aus, anschließend, nach dem du ihn angeschlossen hast, führst du den Befehl nochmal aus. Die Änderung postest du am besten mal.

Entweder hab ich was übersehen oder es hat sich wirklich nichts geändert.

1.ipod einstöpseln
2. su > fdisk -l
3. Ipod suchen und geräte name merken. meiner ist z.b auf /dev/sdc2 (die größere partition wählen!)
4. mounten
5. gtkpod sagen welcher ipod es sich handelt, bei dir 4gb nano white.
6. einbinden in dem man gtkpod sagt wo man den gemountet hat.

Als info > 7. Auf die Schreibrechte achten! So das auch User drauf schreiben können, sonst muss gtkpod auch als root ausgeführt werden!

Hast du ne Live CD zu hand? Wenn ja, probier mal damit.

habe meinen iPod auch einige Zeit mit nem USB 1.1 Connector genutzt :D

Kriechend langsam, funktioniert aber!

Gibt uebrigens ne tolle Aenderung in der neuen iPod Generation. Die iTunes Datenbank ist jetzt brav von Apple verschluesselt, was bedeutet, das Alternativ Software wie zB 'gtkpod' erstmal nicht funktionieren werden.

Ich finds ne Frechheit von Apple, da somit jeder iPod User gezwungen ist, ein Windows bzw. MacOS zu nutzen. Denn es gibt leider noch kein Portage von iTunes auf Linux.

z00k: Soweit ich gehört habe, soll iTunes mit Wine laufen. Ob dort aber alles perfekt läuft weiß ich auch nicht.

Crossover unterstuetzt aber iTunes nur bis v4. Ziemlich veraltet fuer meinen Geschmack :D
