i810 und OpenGL

Hallo,

Ich versuche seit einiger Zeit meine Intel Grafikkarte zum Laufen zu bringen. Jedoch habe ich dabei nur maeszigen Erfolg. (Ich habe das bei den NVIDIA Karten viel einfacher in Erinnerung.)

Die Warnings scheinen eher gewoehnlich zu sein. Ich habe sie in sehr vielen log-Dateien im Internet gefunden. Ich waere aber dennoch froh, wenn ich sie los werden koennte. Der Fehler ist wohl das eigentliche Problem. Er ist auch nicht wirklich verwunderlich; schlieszlich verwende ich den i810 Driver. Aber wieso wird ein NVIDIA X driver ueberhaupt gesucht?

Welche Distri hast du? Ich habe den gleichen Chipsatz und musste überhaupt nichts konfiguieren, bei Debian musste ich nur für OpenGl das Paket "ligl1-mesa-dri" nachinstallieren.
 
Ich hab glaub ich die Graka auf nem PIII und da ging nur direct Rendering mit 16 bit Farben. Ich hoffe ich irre mich da nicht in der Grafikkarte. Nachinstallieren brauchte ich eigentlich nichts. Mesa & GLX krams find ich bei einem System normal nachzuinstallieren.

Du beziehst dich auf 'Load "i810"'? Es gibt keinen Grund. Ich hab die Zeile irgendwo gesehen und in meiner Panik mal geadded. Ist jetzt auskommentiert; aber das loest das Problem nicht.

Hmm. Ich verwende auch Debian und ich hab 2 Pakete installiert (libgl1-mesa-dri, libgl1-mesa-glx). Aber funktionieren tut da gar nichts ;). Der Segmentation fault am Ende wundert mich auch ein bisschen.

Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, was mir die Ausgabe sagen soll; aber er listet zumindest Modes, die mehr als nur 16bit Farben schaffen (zB: 58,5a,5c).

Hab beim Schreiben ein bisschen ueber mein Problem nachgedacht und dabei den Fehler gefunden. Es funktioniert jetzt; das Problem an sich war eher trivial. (Es ist eher ne schlechte Idee, wenn man auch das Paket nvidia-glx installiert hat.)

Ich moechte aber die Warnings auch noch wegbekommen. Gibt es da Moeglichkeiten oder muss man sich mit denen abfinden?
