Hilfe bei Monitorauflösung Widescreen TFT

Hallo,
ich habe heute einen Widescreen TFT Monitor
angeschlossen und bekomme jetzt keine vernünftige Monitorauflösung hin. Auf die Gefahr
hin, daß ihr mich jetzt steinigt: kann mir da vielleicht jemand weiterhelfen????
Ich habe einen Monitor LG Flatron L194WT (hab ich über SAX2 auch aufgewählt). OpenSuse 10.3,
Gfx-Karte NVidia GeForce 6200 (manuell installiert). Unter Bildschirmauflösungseinstellungen kann ich nur
max. 1024x768(75Hz) einstellen. Der Monitor bringt aber 1440x900(60Hz). An was kann das
liegen? Ich füge mal meine Xorg.conf-Datei bei:

Achja: wie füge ich solche Dateien in so ein Scroll-Fenster ein?
 
Wenn du auf Erweitert gehst, gibts oben so ne Raute # , das fügt dann die Code-Blöcke ein.

Zu deinem Problem kann ich als Unwissender nichts sagen :)
 
Normalerweise werden die Monitore automatisch erkannt. Ich denke, du müsstest die richtige Auflösung noch bei den Mods eintragen. (Bin mir aber nicht sicher)
Könnte dann so aussehen
(AUF JEDEN FALL ERST EIN BACKUP DER XORG.CONF MACHEN!)

Ich kann momentan auswählen:
1024x768,800x600,832x624 und 640x480,
Wiederholraten 75,70,60 Hz
Außerdem ist da kein Widescreen-Modus dabei.
Irgendwo ist da der Wurm drin.... :headup:
 
Hast du den XServer neugestartet? (STRG+ALT+BACKSPACE)
Oder hast du die AUflösung schon eingetragen?
