Also ich habe Ubuntu mal geupdated und nun hat er den schon eingestellten Bootloader überchrieben. Ich dachte kein problem als root angemeldet und die menu.lst editiert.

Jetzt aber das komische. Wenn ich normal als User die menu.lst öffne ist sie so wie er sie beim Update überschrieben hat. Wenn ich als root mit dem editor pico die datei öffne sieht sie so aus wie ich sie wieder editiert habe. Doch beim Booten sind keine Veränderungen geschehen.

Was soll ich tun? Ich mein die Datei läst sich anscheinend nicht editieren *heul*

Weis einer ne Lösung? Bitte schnell weil mein Vata möchte wieder in Windoof rein.

Poste mal die /boot/grub/menu.lst und dann erklärst du nochmal was du geändert haben möchtest, bzw. was jetzt falsch läuft.

Das ist der CAT aber ich versteh net warum das da doppelt ist aber wenn ihr damit was anfangen könnt ^^

So und die Datei wie ich sie editiert habe sieht halt so aus das ich versucht hab ein Splashscreen einzufügen und dieses Recovery mit einer Windows Partition ersetzt habe und wenn ich als root die menu.lst öffne seh ich das auch so aber als normaler user seh ich immernoch das standard und beim booten wird auch nur das standard ausgeführt *heul*

Hast du einen zweiten Grub installiert ? Oder exitiert di Datei zweimal auf deinem System ? Laß doch grub mal danach suchen. Ws findet der denn ?
