So es ist soweit Fedora Core 2 Test 1 kann ab sofort HIER
runter geladen werden. Es sind vier CDs.

A test release of Fedora Core 2 is now available from Red Hat and
at distinguished mirror sites near you, and is also available in the torrent.
Fedora Core has expanded in this release to four binary ISO images and
four source ISO images. This test release is specifically designed for testing
the 2.6 kernel, GNOME 2.5, and KDE 3.2. Please file bugs via Bugzilla,
Product Fedora Core, Version test1, Architecture i386 so that they are
noticed and appropriately classified. Discuss this test release on fedora-test-list.

ausser sound problem und (rpm pakete) kann man nicht installieren?

Das mit den RPM Paketen wurde auch schon bei der letzten Core besprochen.

Fedora hat es immer noch nicht korrigiert ??

Dann saug ich´s mal besser gar nicht erst !

Was für ein Problem soll es denn mit rpm-Paketen bei FC 1/2 geben?!

Ja könnt Ihr das RPM Problem etwas genauer beschreiben? Wäre schön zu wissen bevor ich mir 4 cds sauge.

Ich glaube man muß schon ein großer Liebhaber sein, um die Dinger zu installieren. Oder man hat Hardware-Probleme und hofft auf Unterstützung. Aber aus eigener Erfahrung heraus wird so nur selten ein Problem gelößt.

So und nun ist die Testphase 2 eingeleitet worden. Seit ein paar tagen waren ja schon Ordner auf den Servern für die Version 1.9.1 zu sehen aber noch keine Isos drin. Jetzt ist es ja soweit.
