E-Mail Empfang, Aliases unter Debian Squeeze

Liebe Community,

Da ich bereits schon einmal Hilfe mit einem Problem lösen konnte hoffe ich nun auch dieses Problem mit euch lösen zu können.

Ich habe heute ein Thema für euch, welches ihr vermutlich schon zur genüge gehört habt. Jedoch komme ich zur Zeit nicht weiter und ich habe mich schon mehrere Tage mit der Installation beschäftigt.

Es geht um folgendes.

Ich möchte aliases einrichten für meine Domain, auf dem Rootserver.
Postfix habe ich soweit schon installiert, jedoch lehnt dieser anscheinend alle anfragen ab und daher empfängt er auch keine E-Mails.

Was ich möchte ist:

jedoch empfange ich nichtmal ietwas,selbst wenn die /etc/aliases datei bereits darauf angepasst wurde.

Im Webmin Interface unter / Virtualmin, habe ich auch bereits die Mailalises eingetragen udn verwaltet, daraufhin postfix neugestartet jedoch leider weiter keinen Erfolg.

Da ich nun aber schon sehr viele Tutorials durchgelesen habe, und nicht mehr weiter komme, hoffe ich nun auf eure Hilfe!

Leider kann ich keine LOG-Files ausfindig machen.
Der Postfix server startet auch, und läuft.

Jedoch bekomme ich weder über telnet localhost 25, telnet 127.0.0.1 , oder von meinem Heim Rechner aus keine telnet verbindung.

Der Test mit netcat bringt mir leider auch keine Ausgabe.

Den DOMAIN MX-Record habe ich auch schon auf die IP umgeleitet. Oder gehört hier der Domainname eingetragen, was für mich etwas unlogisch wäre, hinein.

Hallo Myrinia,

direkt vorweg: leider kann ich dir mit der konkreten Fragestellung nicht helfen, möchte aber ein paar Anmerkungen machen:

- Das du dich nicht per telnet einloggen kannst, wundert mich nicht. Soweit ich weiss, verwendet telnet eine unverschlüsselte Übertragung von Passwörtern. Ich gehe daher davon aus, dass der root server diesen Dienst nicht aktiv hat. Zum einloggen solltest du ssh verwenden.
- Sind dir die Haftbarkeiten / rechtlichen Konsequenzen klar, wenn du einen Email server aufsetzt, der dann z.B. als Spam schleuder missbraucht wird? Ich rate hier zur Vorsicht (oder zur Privat Insolvenz ;-) )
- Insgesamt würde ich Dir empfehlen:
Root Server sind nicht zum lernen gedacht. Sie sind für Leute, die sich bereits auskennen.
Setz lieber einen kleinen lokalen server auf, um alles auszutesten und dich in die Materie einzuarbeiten und verwende für alles Weitere fremdverwaltete Server.

Ich denke du wirst keine weitere Antwort hierzu aus der Community erhalten.
