Der tollste Typ hier.
Also ich hab die Terratec Cinergy T2 USB-Box und möchte die unter gentoo betreiben. WAs brauche ich dafür an Software?
Und hat jemand ne installationsanleitung?

In nächster Zeit kommen vermutlich noch mehr Fragen, Gentoo is schon etwas komplizierter *G*.
 
Kommt drauf an was du damit machen willst :)

Nur Fernseschauen, oder als kleinen Videorekorder verwenden ...
 
Fernsehn ist erstmal das wichtig!
Videorekorder vielleicht später.
Aber es wäre gut wenn die Fernbedienung funktionieren würde.
 
Ja die Anleitung hatte ich schon woanders gefunden das Problem ist das das Paket dvb-kernel für den 2.6.12er Kerbel ist aber die gentoo-source im Moment ja noch 2.6.11 sind.

#error compiling dvb-kernel works only with linux version greater or equal 2.6.12

es wird nicht lange dauern und gentoo wird die 12 draus haben, denke ich zumindest.....

lass dir im zweifel 2 wochen zeit....

ich habe jetzt schon kein bock den kernel neu zu configen :))
 
Oder hat vielleicht irgendjemand noch die Dateien und könnte sie mir zukommen lassen?
 
Ok hab dann mal nen neues Problem bei make:
error: union has no member named `ethernet'

So weiß jemand wie man das behebt?

Kennst du die beiden Links schon ? - Sind eigentlich sehr gute Info Quellen rum um DVB-S/T/C und Linux.

Im 2.6er Gentoo sollten die Treiber für die Cinergy T² schon vorhanden sein.
Du mußt nur die DVB-Treiber im Kernel einbauen - dat wars ;)
 
ich hab ne Terratec Cinergy Digital 1200 DVB-S
dann läuft bei mir im mom SuSE 9.3 mit nem 2.6.11 kernel.. ist standartmäßig dabei

is ne leicht andere konfiguration aber die fehlermeldung ist diesselbe und hat auch vielleicht denselben lösungsansatz...
muss noch dazu sagen, dass ich nicht so unbedingt der Pro in linux bin^^
