Debian squeeze, Webmin, Samba Freigaben

Moin Leute,

vor einer Woche habe ich mich mal an Linux angetastet und habe nun einen Punkt erreicht, wo ich auch nicht mittels Googeln weiter komme, würde mich freuen wenn mir Jemand helfen kann.

System auf dem Debian installiert ist:

So, und nun zu meinem Problem, alle PC´s und die Dreambox können den Samba Server nas (192.168.178.30) im Netzwerk NICHT sehen und sich daher auch nicht mit dem Freigaben verbinden. Per FTP komme ich auf die Freigaben.

Es hatte gestern funktioniert (Dreambox konnte zugreifen, Win7 konnte den Server sehen, allerdings die Freigaben nicht), nur dann hab ich wohl irgendwo was verstellt und nun habe ich den SalatX(X( Achso, ping auf IP und auf Sambaserver NAS ist ok.

nas ist der eingerichtete Samba Benutzer. Tja und weil es so schön ist, habe ich wohl grade irgendwie durch webmin unbewusst mein root Kennwort geändert. Super! An Webmin kann ich mich noch als root anmelden aber nicht über putty, da geht nur der Nutzer nas.

Hat Jemand eine Idee???
 
Hi, witzigerweise hast du eine sehr ähnliche Config wie ich.

"sehen können" hat was mit browseable zu tun. Mehr kann ich dir da aber auch nicht sagen.

Es kann sein, dass man sich über SSH grunsätzlich nicht als ROOT anmelden kann. versuch mal, dich erst als nas anzumelden, und dann ein "su -".
Dann wird dein Root Passwort abgefragt und du bist als root drin.

ps. vergess putty, installier dir ein vernünftiges cygwin inkl openssh!
