Debian(SID) + Intel HD Audio Controller = kein Sound

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe folgendes Problem:
Mein Notebook gibt keine Töne von sich, zumindest nicht über die Soundkarte :-)

Zu erst ein paar Eckdaten:
Es handelt sich um ein "Toshiba Tecra S10", auf diesem ist Debian SID installiert und bis auf die Soundkarte funktionieren alle Komponenten.
Bis auf die WebCam und der Fingerabdruck Scanner, daran hab ich aber auch kein Interesse.

Der Mixer ist voll aufgedreht und die Soundkarte funktioniert auf jeden Fall, denn unter Windows lief/läuft sie ohne Probleme.

ich habe die neuesten ALSA Treiber kompiliert und eingebunden, aber das Teil spuckt einfach keine Töne aus.

Hat einer von euch da noch eine Idee?

Je nach Notebook-Typ muss man teilweise noch einen Modell-Bezeichner als Parameter angeben. Also...

modprobe snd_hda_intel model=xxxxx

also ich habe da jetzt alle Modelle ausprobiert die bei Toshiba da standen. und keines hat funktioniert.

OK ich habe nicht nach jedem modprobe einen neustart gemacht, bzw jeden Wert in /etc/modeprobe.d/sound eingetragen und neu gestartet.
Aber das sollte doch auch nciht nötig sein oder?

Wahrscheinlich ist es irgend eine Kleinigkeit...
