Bootprobleme mit Windows 2000 und LInux

Hallo liebe Forenmitglieder ich habe ein Problem beim Booten.
Die Systemausstattung:
CPU Intel P4 1,5 GHz
377 MB ram
Grafik: Riva TNT 2 Model 64
Hdd: 1X Samsung SV2044D mit Linux
und 1X Seagate 302410A Win 2000
BS: Windows 2000 und Linux Suse 10.2.

Das Problem:
Windows 2000 vor Linux installation bootet fehlerfrei.

Linux installation mit Bootloader Grub läuft normal durch keine Fehlermeldung. Danach Linux neustart klappt wunderbar mit Bootauswahl. Wenn ich bei der Bootauswahl jedoch win 2000 auswähle und nach dem erfolgreichen Start von Windows das System wieder beende über Start > Herunterfahern fährt das System noch wunderbar herunter kann dann aber nicht mehr gestartet werden. Der Recher läuft dann nur noch durch den Bios boot Vorgang und sobald das BS geladen werden soll startet er neu. Meine Vermutung ist das der mbr der ersten Platte zerschossen wird. HAt jemand von euch ne Idee woran das liegt?

um deiner vermutung des zerstoerten MBRs nachzugehen, nimm doch irgendne live distro, bastel dir schnell ne SIMPLE! lilo.conf und install lilo in den MBR...

lilo ist in solchen sachen wesentlich einfacher zu handhaben als GRUB...

Welche Platte ist erste in BIOS, auf welche Platte steht Windoze 2000?
