Licq 1.2.7 wie wird's installiert???

Hi!!

Bin neuling!!!
Möchte gerne LIcq 1.2.7 auf meinen Computer installieren, aber weiß nicht, wie ich dass machen soll!!!
Habe SuSe 9.1 professional
Ich habe mir Licq runtergeladen und in dem Ordner gesucht, bin aber nicht dahinter gekommen, wie ich es installieren soll!!!

aalso erstmal gibst du "./configure --prefix=/usr/local"
dann
"gmake" und wenn gmake nich funzt gibst du "make" ein , wenn das dann fertig ist , dann gibst du
"su" ein und dann
"make install"
und nun "licq" ausführen und freuen :)

Da fehlt noch ein "make", um die Quelltexte zu kompilieren, und anschließend als root ein "make install" um das Programm zu installieren.

Sag mal, kannst du nicht lesen oder was?
Herr Gott, da steht ganz klar und deutlich, dass du "gmake" eintippen sollst.

gmake ist nur ein link auf make, deswegen ist es egal was man von beiden eingibt.

Nochmal langsam zum Mitschreiben:

Als normaler User
1. tom@linux:/home/Tom/downloads/licq-1.2.7 $ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local
- angezeigt wird der Sermon wie oben gepastet...
2. tom@linux:/home/Tom/downloads/licq-1.2.7 $ make
- das Geraffel wird kompiliert
3. tom@linux:/home/Tom/downloads/licq-1.2.7 $ su
- rootpasswort eingeben, danach
/home/Tom/downloads/licq-1.2.7 # make install
- Installation erfolgt. Mit control-d wirst Du wieder zu Tom und startest licq mit
4. tom@linux:/home/Tom/downloads/licq-1.2.7 $ licq &

Ja sorry. Schuld sind meine Surfgewohnheiten. Ich hab meistens so 5-6 Tabs die sich schonmal im Hintergrund öffnen. Und als ich dann das Tab gelesen und schließlich geantwortet hatte, war deine Antwort schon da, nur war in meinem Browser eine etwas veraltete Version von der Seite...

Du hast Nichts falsch gemacht ! Licq ist zweigeteilt. - dh. du kompilierst den LICQ-Programmkern und dann nochmal extra eine grafische Oberfläche. So ist das zumindest bei älteren Programmversionen immer gewesen. Deswegen kann man ja licq auch in der Console nutzen. In welches Verzeichnis du da allerdings genau zum kompilieren noch wechseln mußt - Plugins oder so - kann ich dir jetzt so spontan nicht sagen. Am Besten erstmal das Readme lesen.
