Festplatte beschädigt. Suche Tool zum fixen

Hi

Nachdem heute morgen diverse Programme wie Nepomuk und Dolphin regelmäßig crashten, und ich in /var/log/messages diverse Einträge fand die ata und sdb mit error und exception in Verbindung brachten habe ich diese Festplatte mit einem von HP im UEFI integrierten Scranner gescannt. Es wurde auch direkt ein Fehler gefunden: "Hard Disk Test : FAILED"

Das System selber bootet allerdings noch. Die Festplatte an sich scheint also noch OK zu sein. Ich schätze/hoffe dass einfach einige Sektoren defekt sind.

Gibt es irgendwelche tools mit denen ich das Problem beheben kann? Also die dem Dateisystem mitteilen welche Sektoren defekt sind o.ä.
Google spuckt mir immer nur tools aus mit denen ich die Partitionstabelle reparieren kann, aber ist wahrscheinlich nicht das Problem, sonst könnte ich wohl schon nicht booten, bzw es gäbe probleme beim mounten der Partitionen…

ps.: die festplatte hat/unterstützt SMART…

Scheinbar kann man mit smartctl alles machen was ich will… Bleibt nur noch die Frage wie :)
Das Tool scheint ein hohes Potenzial zu haben alles noch schlimmer zu machen :D

s.m.a.r.t. ist eine Möglichkeit, den Zustand der Platte zu überprüfen, fixen kann man damit aber nichts. Ich würde mal einen Blick auf die Seite des jeweiligen Herstellers werfen, dort werden oft irgendwelche Medien angeboten, die ein Reparatur-tool booten.
 
Es würde mir reichen, wenn ich irgendwie dem Dateisystem mitteilen könne, welche Sektoren defekt sind… Dieser Rechner ist recht wichtig und muss solange am laufen bleiben bis ich eine neue Platte habe…

Was hat das Dateisystem davon?

Nochmal: schau Dich nach einem Hersteller-Tool um. Um was für eine Platte handelt es sich denn?

Ich würde mal die man von ext4 zu Rate ziehehn, oder tante Google und ext4 + bad blocks

Du kannst sehr wohl mit einem filecheck badblocks als soclhe markieren udn von weiteren schreibzugriffen ausschließen, ist nat. ne Notlsöung, denn die badblocks werden mit Sicherheit nicht weniger..

Mit den smartmontools kann man auch anch badblocks suchen, bzw. sich diese anzeigen lassen.

Ein tool ist dort nicht zu finden…

Das Dateisystem wüsste, welche Sektoren es auf der Festplatte nicht mehr verwenden darf. Das ein paar Dateien kaputt sind/gehen ist egal, ich habe backups… Allerdings muss ich die Platte noch so lange so zuverlässig wie möglich nutzen können wie es dauert bis ich entweder von HP ne neue Platte bekomme (habe dort den Laptop gekauft) oder ich mir eine SSD gekauft habe. Ich habe keine wirklichen Alternativen…

Hallo

sieh dir erstmal das Progarmm badblocks an, sollte afaik auch für ext4 gehen, aber vorher nachlesen bitte
dann sich die entsprechen docus zu ext4 durchlesen, ext4 sollte bad-blocks auch händeln können, ähnlich ext3.
Aber das ist kein dauerzustand und die Anzahl an bad-blocks dürfte immer mehr zuznehmen (wenns denn kein headcrash war)

so, lasse gerade e2fsck -cfpv laufen…
Ich hoffe es tut was es soll, den weder v noch killall -USR1 e2fsck hat es dazu verleitet mir anzuzeigen was es gerade tut…
Zumindest zeigt top das badblocks aufgerufen wurde…

Ich lasse die tools natürlich von einer LiveCD aus laufen. (Fedora 15 x86-64 KDE Live)

Ach ja, falls jemand mal per google auf diesen thread stößt: e2fsck und LVM

Habe nun die root und die home-partition gescant. Die home-Partiton scheint völlig i.o. zu sei, auf der root-Partition sind 6 sektoren defekt.
Jetzt hoffe ich dass das System soweit "repariert" ist, dass ich ohne crashes damit noch ein paar tage arbeiten kann…

Die folgenden Dateien sind wohl betroffen:

So… Habe die beiden Libs vorsichtshalber gegen neue ausgetauscht und anschließend das System gebootet.
Bisher gibt ein keine Auffälligkeiten weshalb ich denke dass die ganze Prozedur erfolgreich war…

Jetzt muss nur noch schnellst möglich eine neue Platte her :)
Hat da jemand Erfahrung wie HP darauf reagiert? Habe denen gestern bereits ne mail geschickt, und Garantie ist auch noch auf dem Gerät…

(ich nehme auch SSD-Empfehlungen entgegen ;) )

Festplatte bekomme ich ersetzt, muss die alter jedoch zurückschicken… Wie kann ich denn die Daten darauf zuverlässig löschen? Ich las, dass dban Probleme hat wenn Sektoren defekt sind.
