Lilo Probleme

Ich habe hier ein Problem...
Habe nun Parallel RH9.0 und die SuSE8.2 installiert....
Leider kriege ich die dinger nicht zusammen dazu "Bootbar" zu sein...
Normalerweise sollte das ja kein Problem sein...aber diesmal klappt es einfach nicht...

Hier mal die 2 lilo.conf files....vieleicht kann mir ja einer helfen

Hab es schon mit Grub versucht...aber nichts


Und hier mal meine Partitionen...
/dev/hda1 Swap Platte
/dev/hda2 hmmmm gute frage ;-) sollte mal boot werden
/dev/hda3 RH9.0 Platte
/dev/hda4 SuSE 8.2

ich weis, ist nicht wirklich gut aufgeteilt....

hmm mir ist net ganz klar was du machen willst ?

Ich habe 2 Systeme Installiert, die ich natürlich auch gerne "wahlweise" booten möchte ;-)
Allerdings lässt sich das (trotz intensiver Bemühungen) nicht realisieren

Ich dachte mir, das es vieleicht Leute gibt, die mir helfen können, lilo das (duale) booten "beizubringen" *g*

Aso verstehe

mußt dir überlegen welchen lilo du installieren willst Ich geh mal vom Redhat lilo aus dann machst folgendes
Du bootest nach redhat


1. Kopierst den SuSE Kernel $susehd/boot/vmlinuz /boot/vmlinuz.suse
1a. Kopierst die SuSE ramdisk $susehd/boot/initrd /boot/initrd.suse
2. Fügst den Eintrag in der /etc/lilo.conf hinzu


3. Lilo ausführen und hoffen das keine Fehler sin

fertig

<edit> hmm irgendwie hast bei der redhat lilo.conf die root zeile vergessen - füg die noch dazu also irgendwo unter initrd

root = /dev/hda3

dann müßts klappen
