Hi,
wenn ich meinen mp3-player via usb an mein lappi hänge, dann tut das wunderbar, ubuntu erkennt ihn auch, alles toll, will ich ihn aber wieder abstöpseln (unmounten), hängt sich die kiste auf.
an was kann das liegen? wie kann ich das rausbekommen?
weiss da wer was?
 
Was sagen die log ?
Irgendwelche Fehler im log auffindbar ?

Also wenn du hier nix ungewöhnliches siehst - bist du entweder blind oder k.A. ....

Was für ein Dateisystem ist denn auf dem Stick? Selber Formatiert?

Notfalls formatiere den Stick unter (k)Ubuntu nochmal per Hand auf vfat ....
 
hm, :think: eigentlich sollte das FAT sein, habe ihn nich selber formatiert, aber das werde ich gleich mal machen.

Hm eigentlich sollte man das Ding ja mit umount /dev/sda1 umounten können und genau dabei hängt der Rechner sich auf?

Normalerweise sollte man es wirklich unmounten. Hast du auch ein entsprechendes Tool mit drauf, welches das vielleicht auch automatisch erledigt? Zum Beispiel amarok oder müsste das können.
 
hm, hab ihn nu mit win auf fat32 formatiert, aber linux hängt sich immernoch auf wenn ich den stick unmounte :(
 
In /var/log/messages (syslog) taucht weiterhin der Fehler auf?
Testweise den Stick mal mit einem Linux Dateisystem formatieren.
