Cron Script!

Hi@ all!

Ich suche für mein Abschlussprojekt zum Fachinformatiker ein cron Script o.ä. was automatisch jeden Tag ein Backup der MySQL Datenbank macht und es auf einem Netzlaufwerk sichert (ist bereits gemountet unter /mnt/sqlbackup). Zusätzlich solltr es auch alte Backups löschen z.B. alle die älter als 30 Tage sind.
Und das script sollte falls ein fehler vorliegt eine mail an einen mail empfänger schicken können.
Wäre echt sehr nett wenn sich jemand mit meinem Problem beschäftigen könnte!

PS: habe Suse 9.1 im Einsatz

So macht man irgenwie Mysqldumps

Jetzt musst du es nur noch zusammenfügen, den mysqldump erstellen und fertig ist das Script. Und falls du ein bisschen suchst bei google dann findest du vielleicht ein fertiges Script.

ok danke werd ich gleich mal versuchen wenn ich folgendes problem gelöst habe. Habe mir von http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=101066 das automysql backup script gezogen und alle einstellungen gemacht. wenn ich das script nun mit:

"sh automysqlbackup-2.sh.2.2"

ausführen will kommt der Fehler:

Das projek umfasst mehr das ist nur nen bruchteil davon, bin nur mit meinem wissen am ende und brauch Hilfe / unterstützung von jemanden der sich halt besser aus kennt ...

ich kann das script doch normal mit sh dateiname.sh aufrufen oder mach ich da schon was falsch?
 
keiner mehr eine idee? kann es sein das irgendwas nicht installiert ist was das script brauch? hatte das selbe problem schon bei anderen scripten dieser art immer kommt command not found :(
 
hast du passwort und so verändert?
was kommt wenn du date in der Konsole eingibst?
und beim /backup hast du schreibrechte?

probier es doch selber mit dem mysqldump befehl es ist nicht so schwer denke ich. du kannst ja die ideen vom script nehmen und selber ein script basteln das nicht so allgemein gehalten ist, wie dieses hier.
 
so hab mir jetzt nen script gebastelt was mir die Sicherung macht.

die dump file soll auf einem netzlaufwerk gespeichert werden welches unter /mnt/sicherung gemountet ist. Nur mein problem ist falls das Netzlaufwerk aus irgend nem grund nicht gemountet wird, dann würde er das script im Ordner /mnt/sicherung ablegen. Wie kann ich das verhindern bzw. wie kann ich da ne Kontroloption herein bringen ob sicherung gemountet ist?

Ich hab zwar keine Ahnung von Programmierung, aber "mount" gibt doch die derzeit gemounteten devices aus, einfach mit ner if-schleife rückchecken, if <mountname> ist in output von mount, mach weiter ansonsten mounte mir und mach dann weiter.. Erschiene mir als logische Lösung.

Da ich aber nicht mal weis was cron is und von Programmierung keine Ahnung hab, seid mir nicht böse wenn ich gerade Blödsinn schwafle.

Ich hätte das ja etwas anders angefasst. KISS sollte dir was sagen (Keep it stupid simple)

Warum eigentlich ein gemountetes Laufwerk? Du kannst doch die Dateien auch per FTP übertragen. Und das lässt sich hervorragend scripten. Das kannst du ein ein sogenanntes Here Document packen. ( Info)

Und der Rest ist dann nur noch Routine. Für das Löschen der Altdateien würde ich ein kleines Script auf dem Zielserver schreiben.

Geht also alles ohne abgekupferter Scripte.

P.S. Du würdest bei der Prüfung eh wie ein begossener Pudel dastehen, wenn du ein super Script hast, welches du nicht erklären kannst.
