HI leute,

ich hatte Zend-Platform gestern installiert und heute wieder runter geworfen und seitdem hade ich das problem.

Habe dann mittels aptitude den mysql-server-5.0 entfernt (auch die konfigs) und neu installiert.

gleiche problem.

das komische ist aber, der server läuft. starte ich den server nochmal bestätigt er mir das auch.

die socket und pid file sind vorhanden, aber keine /tmp/mysql.sock ... auch der port 3306 ist nicht verfügbar.

hat einer einen rat?
 
Schiebe die Socketfile in der Config doch einfach mal auf den Pfad um, den er haben will.

Ansonsten kannste ja mal mit nmap und netstat checken, ob der mysqld überhaupt läuft, und auch auf den Port horcht.
 
mysql läuft .. ps und wenn ich mysql erneut starten will, bestätigen das
der port ist NICHT da .. nestat bestätigt das.

wenn ich:

ln -s /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock /tmp/mysql.sock
ausführe klappt alles
wieso der mysql daemon den nicht anlegt .. kp .. oder zend platform hat den mit entfernt.
