Da sitz ich gerade vorm Rechner... und wundere mich gerade woher denn der ganze Traffic kommt. Exakt 21Kb/s.

Per Wireshark die Ip herausgefunden, whois abgefragt....

Mein Download beträgt wenns hoch kommt ca 42Kb/s, so ist mein Zugang zum Netz halb unbrauchbar... Allerdings wundert mich auch, dass der traffic über meine VPN - IP gesandt wird. Ich denke mir, spinnen die Jungs? Das ist mein Provider!! Was treiben die da? Habe dann per iptables diese ip geblockt, voila! Noch schnell ne Beschwerde-Mail wegen DOS-Angriff an abuse@t-ipnet...

Was haltet ihr davon???
Bei Bedarf kann ich den gesamten aufgezeichneten Traffic liefern.

das lag daran, dass ein whois auf meine ip nicht von t-com spricht. Ich habe daraus geschlossen, dass es in dem Fall von t-com sein muss. Nun gut seltsam bleibt es für mich :)

Was kann ich rechtlich unternehmen?

Schliesslich bleibt es ja dabei, dass meine Leitung voll ausgelastet wird.

Wahsrcheinlich garnichts. Ich bin aber kein Jurist. Es ist nämlich sehr wahrscheinlich, dass der Besitzer der IP selbst nichts von der Attacke weiss, da dieser Rechner auch kompromittiert wurde.
(Stichwort DDOS)

Ich würd einfach die IP blocken, und das System mal ordentlich durchchecken.
(rkhunter, chrootkit,...)
 
Jepp, rkhunter läuft, Ip ist schon auf der Schwarzen Liste.

Wie stellst du dir das vor ? Mit xshootgun ? Und denk an den virtuellen Jagschein !
Bedrohte Arten wie den roten langhaarigen Hinterwäldler z.b darfts du nicht erlegen, beim gemeinen Script Kiddie sieht das schon anders aus, aber nimm dich vor denen mit den Nadelstreifenanzügen und der Sonnenbrille in Acht, die schießen zurück (sind allerdings sehr selten) ! Und pass auf manche Leute finden es lustig sich Brunfttöne als Klingelton auf ihr Handy zu spielen ...
Im ernst, wenn er einen Rechner gekapert hat kommst du schnell in eine rechtliche Grauzone, wenn du ihn verfolgst. Sofern keine Daten abgeflossen sind ist das auch die mühe nicht wert.

Und jagen tue ich den mit visualtraceroute + nem dicken Kantholz.

Keruskerfürst, lese den thread. Da wird mehrfach von Ip & Iptables & geblockt & Schwarze Liste gesprochen.

Ich verdächtige dich deine Forenbeiträge mit unlauteren Mitteln in die Höhe zu treiben, wie auch schon in anderen threads geschehen. Das ist wie gesagt nur ein rein subjektiver Verdacht.

Falls es dich wirklich interessieren sollte, hier der Weg den ein Paket bis zu mir zurücklegt:

->VPN-Gateway->Router@home->Mein Rechner

auf jedem Glied läuft Iptables. Auf dem VPN-Gateway noch knockd.

Man kann Iptables auch direkt auf dem Rechner selbst installieren - eben ohne einen zusätzlichen Firewall.
Von einem zusätzlichen Firewall war vor meiner Nachfrage eben nicht die Rede.
