meine platte ließ sich nicht partitionieren. deshalb hab ich suse auf ner externen installieren müssn. jetzt brauch ich die externe immer, wenn ich den pc einschalten will, weil der boot manager wo man das betriebssystem auswählt, auf der externen ist.
ohne ext. kommt immer "grub loading... error 21"
kann ich irgendwie irgendwo einstellen, dass ohne ext. platte windows automatisch gebootet wird?
 
Du könntest /boot auf eine extra Partition der internen Platte schaffen.
Dann sollte zumindest Grub auch ohne die externe Platte funktionieren.

Wird interne die Platte ueberhaupt erkannt nach der Installation? Ich koennte mir vorstellen, dass der Fehler daran liegt, dass der Rechner einen Controller hat, der von Linux nicht unterstuetzt wird (SATA-II?). Da bringt Dir dann auch grub nichts mehr - vielleicht ist eine Option, eine zweite interne Platte einzubauen?

Du hast zumindest richtig geantwortet ;-)

Wenn Du von der USB-Platte aus bootest, wird die Interne Platte vermutlich als /dev/sda oder /dev/hda angesprochen.

Koenntest Du mal die Ausgabe von

Achte darauf, dass Du den Befehl als root ausfuehrst.

Vorher also mit 'su' zum root werden. Mit 'exit' bzw. Strg + D verwandelst Du Dich nach dem Kommando wieder in jedi.
 
hab am root konto eigentlich eingestellt dass ich auch root bin.
 
Wie meinst Du das? Deine Ausgabe zeigt, dass Du den Befehl als normaler user eingegeben hast ('jedi@linux-6e1u:~>'), also musst Du zunächst mit dem Befehl 'su' und Deinem root-Passwort zu root werden. Was soll denn ein 'root-Konto' sein? Vermeide es, als root zu arbeiten, wenn es nicht unbedingt sein muss, aber wenn es sein muss, musste halt vorher 'su' ausführen.
