hi *
hab hier ne neue kiste bekommen und habe folgendes problem:
der rechner boot ohne probleme in der runlevel 5 und x startet auch. nun ist es aber so das plötzlich (nach unbestimmter zeit aber immer < 5min) das vga-signal wegfällt so als ob DPMS aktiv wäre um den monitor auf standby zu schalten. es ist aber keins aktiv und der monitor lässt sich auch nicht mehr "aufwecken".
das komische ist auch das sowas auch ohne x passiert und auch die splash-console (vesafb) auch weg ist....
der rechner ist aber weiterhin ansprechbar (z.b ssh) was gegen ein temperatur -problem oder ähnlichen sprechen würde.
hier ein paar daten:
- Intel Pentium D 805
- 2 x 512 DDR2
- ASUS P5NSLI (North Bridge C19 SLI / South Bridge MCP 51)
- 2 x FX7600GS PCI-E
hab keine erfahrung mit suse und nvida-chipsätzen auf dem MB. könnte das die ursache sein? getestet unter suse-smp-kernels: 2.6.16.21-0.25 und 2.6.17.13.
während der installation über ca 2 stunden gab es das problem nicht was mich auf den kernel bringen würde als ursache. gelegentlich friert der rechner auch ganz ein
dmesg sagt soweit auch nicht viel (siehe anlage).

jemand vorab ne idee bevor ich versuchen muss das mal unter windows zu testen?
