Verzweiflung mit Suse 9.3 und PCTV SAT

Hallo,
ich verzweifle langsam aber sicher.
Ich bin absoluter Linux neuling - bin bisher recht begeistert von Linux und Suse 9.3m
aber ich bekomme meine Pinnacle PCTV Sat karte einfach nicht ans laufen.
Hab auch schon das Internet abgegrast nur leider bisher nur sachen gefunden die
mir alle nicht weiterhelfen (wie gesagt kompletter Linux neuling).
Ich habe versucht die Karte unter Yast2 zu konfigurieren geht aber nicht.
Er zeigt mir dort merkwürdigerweise 2 Karten an 1xPCTV Sat und 1x Pinnacle PCTV 2 ...
Wenn ich die jeweils konfiguriere, dann sagt er beim Kanallsuchlauf -
Das Kernel Modul konnte nicht geladen werden bzw. ich hatte auch schon eine
Meldung, die besagte das v4l (video4Linux ?) nicht genug Speicher hat... (sinngemäß)
Sollte aber doch bei 1GB nicht zu wenig sein oder ?????
Hatte vorher die 64bit Edition drauf inzwischen sogar extra auf 32Bit aber kein unterschied.
Kann mir jemand hier eine detailierte Step bei Step anleitung geben ?
Denn mit make etc. kann ich nicht viel anfangen.
Wäre schön wenn sich jemand erbarmt.

Step by Step nicht, aber ich tip mal darauf, das der Kernel der Verwendet wird keine Unterstützung für TV Karten reincompiliert hat. Da müsste man einen neuen kernel backen. Als Neuling, puhhh. Bin aber nicht sicher. post mal die genauen Fehlermeldungen

schau mal (mit der tab taste vervollständigst du pfade und dateien!!!) ob es eine /dev/dvb/adapter1/dvr0 gibt ... oder ob es überhaupt ne /dev/dvb/* gibt.

poste dann bitte auch nochmal die ausgabe von "lsmod"

btw - modprobe ist zum nachladen von modulen(treibern) - lässt sich auch nur als root aufrufen.

Ja die Geräte gibt es ...
Mir ist aber aufgefallen (hatte zu hause schon einmal lsmod ausgeführt)
Das er in diesem nur bttv anzeigt und nicht die exakte auswahl die
ich unter Yast getroffen habe (dvb.........) ist das so richtig ?
Hab grad unseren Sys Admin gefragt der sagte mir nur mit su modprobe käme ich nicht weiter sondern ich müßte wohl vorher su - ausfürhren, damit auch die entsprechenden Pfade geladen werden ...... (man lernt ja weiter :-) )

Juhu ein teilerfolg stellt sich ein
Das 1. Fernsehbild (über KAXTV ) zwar noch ohne Ton aber schon
mit Bild - auch wenn es nach ca. 1 Min. stehen blieb aber immerhin und gemacht habe ich folgendes:

dieses programm könntest du nutzen .. /etc/sudoers <- config datei des programms

mithilfe dieses programms kannst du befehle ausführen , die eigentlich NUR root ausführen kann..
