Nö, DVDs und CDs können auch gelesen werden. Es könnte aber auch am dist-upgrade liegen
 
Hmm . . . Benutzt du unstable Packages? Oder testing? Schreib mal an die Debian Mailinglist, da wird dir sicher besser geholfen als hier :).

Ich würde vorschlagen verwende mal testweise einen anderen Kernel und prüfe, ob auch der die Fehlermeldungen ausspuckt.
Wenn ja, würde ich annehmen, dass mit deiner Hardware (ACPI) etwas nicht stimmt.
 
Mein Debian schaltet sich nach dem Runterfahren immer von selbst ab. Mit anderen Distries, z.B. redhat 9 oder Slackware 10 hatte ich solchne Probleme noch nie. Ich werde mir eh warscheinlich mal einen eigenen Kernel bauen :)

Wieso Probleme? Es soll doch so sein, dass sich der PC automatisch abschaltet nach dem Runterfahren...... 8)

Ich habe gerade mein System neu installiert, da ein dist-upgrade irgendwas zerschossen hat. Jetzt läuft es ohne Fehlermeldungen :)
 
Sprich Dein Rechner hängt sich jetzt wieder auf wenn Du runterfährst ?? :D :D

Hat sich das Problem lösen lassen?
Ich benutze Gentoo mit einem per Genkernel erstelleten Kernel und habe das gleiche Problem.
