xampp start , aber nix passiert

Hallo,
ich habe ubuntu 6 als rootsystem und habe folgendes problem:
- xampp ist nach der anleitung auf der apachefriends seite installiert
- /opt/lampp/lampp start kann ich ausführen, allerdings startet er nichts und fehlermeldungen gibt er mir auch nicht!
kennt irgendjemand von euch das problem?

Ne Althernative ist auch nich die "richtigen" Programme zu nehmen. Also original apache und mysql.
Ist nix anderes. :) Und dazu ist es auch noch sicherer.

naja, da steht das einige programm das xfree brauchen aber nix von xampp oder lampp, achja wir haben die orginalen paket druff, aber die sind zu alt und ich finde kein neues php 5.2.x und das ist notwendig!
problem ist einfach das sich kein neues insallieren lässt via apt-get und alles andere bracht andere pakete und dann mach ich mir den server damit kaputt
 
Wenn da schon original-software drauf ist, ist das kein wunder das xampp nicht läuft.
Du musst die "Originalen" Apache usw erst beenden. Das geht als su mit

rcapache stop
___oder___
/etc/init.d/apache stop
oder in der Art.

Das is n echter server der am Netz hängt???
Dann ist es tötlich xampp zu nutzen. Ist viel zu unsicher. Wenn du über apt-get kein update fundest, musst du mal die Sourcen-Liste von apt aktualisieren. Das ist glaub ich die /etc/apt/sources.list
Bei dem wie nutz mal die Suchfunktion im Board und Google. Da kann ich dir leider nicht weiter helfen, weil ich kein apt nutze.

neine, du issn kleiner denkfehler ;)
wenn ich lampp starte und noch ein anderer dienst an ist dann sagt mir lampp das.... aber er versucht nichtmal was zu starten
wie gesagt normalerweise kommt da dann starting apache( erfolgreich: is running; apache2 noch aktiv: another apache is running)
aber sowas kommt nicht :(
 
Zum einen:
Ich hab ja eben schon geschrieben. Für den normalen Serverbetrieb ist xampp nicht gut. Ist zu unsicher. Wenn das n richtiger Webserver ist, den du da hast nutz bitte die richtigen apache und mysql usw dienste. Tipps dazu hab ich ja oben schon gegeben. Wenn das nur ein Homeserver zum Endwickeln ist oder von aussen nicht zu erreichen ist, (wie ich ihn habe) ist das aber ok.

Schlauer wird man von dmesg auch nicht.... Hm....
Macht lampp selber in dem /opt/lampp oder in dessen unterordnern irgendwelche logs? Sonst wüsste ich nix mehr....

Dann hab ich keine weiteren Ideen...
Musste auch die Cracks warten. :D

Ich kann dir nur ans Herz legen, die echten Apache-Versionen zu nutzen.
