WLAN auf einem Amilo Li 1718 Notebook

Hallo

Ich bin am verzweifeln! Ich besitze ein Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 1718 und habe mir OpenSUSE als Partition installiert. Soweit läuft alles. Habe meine WLAN Karte (Atheros 5006) mit einem NDISWrapper eingerichtet und würde im Yast erfolgreich erkannt.

Die Befehle iwconfig und ifconfig im Terminal zeigen auch alles normal an bzw. es wurde alles erkannt (kann es leider nicht reinkopieren da ich im Windows bin).

Resultat: WLAN Karte sollte Softwaretechnisch laufen tut sich aber nichts!!

Hat irgendwer erfahrung mit den Amilo 1718 Notebooks wenn ja, bitte helfen.

was sagt dmesg dazu ?


mit ndiswrapper hatte ich schon einige probleme (marvell libertas), da gibts nen 16k-stacks-patch, danach liefs halbwegs.
 
Ja hab einen WLAN Hotkey über der tastatur...

dmesg sagt mir im endeffekt das er nix damit anfangen kann, wenn er betätigt wird....Hast du da ne Software um den Hotkey zu initialisieren???

und dann solltest du eigentlich nur noch DEIN Netzwerk eingeben also ESSID und Schlüssel..
 
Hab die ESSID im Network Manager gesetzt. Keine Verschlüsselung.
Klicke auf Verbinden und bekomme keine verbindung.

iwlist scan bringt auch keine offenen Netzwerke.

Wieso nimmst du ndiswrapper? Für atheros gibt es doch mad-wifi, und die solltest du auch nehmen.

Yast starten -> ndiswrapper runterhauen -> madwifi installieren.

Schon mal probeweise die Verschlüsselung kurz ausgeschalten, um den Fehler näher mal eingrenzen zu können?
 
Habe es schon einmal mit dem Madwifi Tool ausprobiert, mit dem tool funktionierte aber gar nix es hat nichtma die karte erkannt.Im iwconfig und ifconfig stand dann auch nix mehr drin....
 
für den hotkey versuchs damit oder damit

also er hat die karte gefressen, da kanns ja nur noch an dem switch liegen.
es sei denn die sache mit den zu kleinen stack-größen im kernel oder n anderer bug.

versuchs ma mit den tools. wenn das ne rockt dann schau ma unter linux-on-laptops.com

Danke für die sehr guten Hinweise :) aber ich war auch schon soweit:

Madwifi: Wenn ich das Madwifi Tool installiere geht gar nix mehr keine Wlan Karte installiert usw.

Ndiswrapper: Wlan Karte im Yast erfolgreich erkannt nur keine verbindung, wie gehabt...

Hotkey Tasten: Nicht für mein "sche...." kompatibel...

Hab ihr sonst noch Ideen weil meine sind soweit erschöpft :(

Die Hotkeys von Acer und die von dem Link wo du mir eben gelinkt hast, hab ich schon ausprobiert. Sind alle nicht mit meinem Laptop Kompatibel.

Das war auch meine Überlegung das es damit zusammenhängt.

Habe nach 5 Stündiger Suche eine Lösung gefunden :D:D:D:D:D:D

hab als allererstes OpenSUSE wieder runtergeschmissen und mein alt bewährtes Ubuntu installier dann nach einiger suche kam ich auf diesen thread
