Win4BSD allows FreeBSD/PCBSD users to run Windows applications and desktop from the safety and security of their BSD desktop eliminating the need to dual-boot or keep additional hardware just to use their last remaining Windows applications.
Individuals and organizaton wishing to use FreeBSD/PCBSD can now also use those Windows legacy applications which until now have been unavailable to the FreeBSD/PCBSD user.

Schade, nur für Intel, noch nicht für AMD. Sonst hätte ich es mal ausprobiert.
Kennt das jemand aus der Beta-Phase ? Ist das ähnlich vmware und xen ?

Wo liest du das raus? Ich kann hier nur die allgemeinen Bezeichner (x86/x86_64) entdecken.

Hm, steht im Thread "Announcing the first public beta release of Win4BSD Pro Desktop" bei denen:

NOTE: Win4BSD Pro only supports i386 host architectures at the moment; amd64 host architectures are not yet supported. You can check your host architecture type by running the command uname -m

Ob das auch noch für die aktuelle Version gilt ?
