Ubuntu -> postfix-tls / cyrus-sasl

Hallo,

ich habe ein kleines Problem.
Ich habe postfix installiert und es funktioniert soweit auch alles.
Nun benötige ich aber, um postfix als Mail Relay benutzen zu können, SMTP Auth bei meinem Provider.
Ich habe mir dazu auch einiges über Google zusammen gesucht und könnte eigentlich mal loslegen es auszuprobieren, aber leider finde ich in den Ubuntu Paketen weder postfix-tls noch cyrus-sasl und auch kein libsasl7.
Sind diese Pakete bei Ubuntu nicht vorhanden, oder habe ich irgend wo was vergessen?

Bei Google habe ich schon gesucht, aber nichts passendes zu Ubuntu gefunden.

Ich würde noch ein "multiverse" hinter die Quellen hinzufügen.
Das sind dann IMHO alle verfügbaren Pakete.
Die müssen dann theoretisch nicht unbedingt stabil auf Ubuntu laufen.
Aber ich habe damit noch nie Probleme bekommen.

Ok, habe mal multiverse hinzu gefügt, die Pakete sind aber trotzdem nicht dabei.
Schon seltsam...

Ich komme langsam in die Versuchung das ganze auf Standard Debian umzustellen.

Oder hat noch jemand einen Tip (ausser selber compilieren), wie ich unter Ubuntu an postfix-tls / cyrus-sasl heran komme?

Hab gerade keinen Ubuntu Rechner da um das zu testen, aber was spricht denn gegen selber kompilieren?

Nachtrag: TLS ist im Postfix von Ubuntu meines Wissens drin. Einfach mal die folgenden Zeilen in die main.cf und passende Zertifikate generieren.

Jetzt frage ich mich, was läuft da falsch? Da ist nix mit cyrus-sasl.
Hat Ubuntu das etwas komplett anders implementiert?

Ich denke, dass ich oben gezeigt habe, dass Ubuntu sehr wohl cyrus-sasl drin hat. Versuch mal deine CD aus der sources.list rauszunehmen und dann nochmal nen 'apt-get update'. Evtl. funkt die dir dazwischen. Das Problem hatte ich bei Ubuntu auch schonmal gehabt.

Ok, danke. Ich werde es mal versuchen.
Irgend was stimmt halt an meiner Config nicht... sonst würde es ja auftauchen.

Hat leider auch nichts gebracht, wenn ich die CD Quelle raus nehme.
Trotzdem wird cyrus-sasl bei mir nach apt-get update nicht gefunden.

Hmm... Na dann muß ich mal schauen, ob ich es so hin bekomme, eine SMTP Auth zu konfigurieren. Nur leider gehen die meisten Beschreibungen von cyrus-sasl aus.

Wegen selber compilieren. Ich wollte Ubuntu möglichst "sauber" halten und nur die vorhandenen binaries benutzen.

Dann zieh dir die notwendigen Pakete doch ueber deinen Browser und installiere sie mit dpkg. *vorschlag*

Dann nimm "checkinstall" = selber kompilieren, aber nicht an der paketverwaltung vorbei.

Jetzt muß ich mal dumm fragen. Oben auf den Quellen Link ist kein dpkg dabei, zumindest nicht für cyrus-sals. Dies liegt nur als tar file vor.

Könnte jemand von euch mal die source.list posten? Irgend wie scheint da bei meiner was nicht zu stimmen. Keine Ahnung wo...
