Twinhan DVB-T in SuSE 10.0 installieren

Hallo,
ich hab ein Problemchen... Ich hab auf meinem Notebook SuSE 10.0 installiert und wollte jetzt "nur noch schnell" meinen USB TV-Adapter zum laufen bringen...
Es handelt sich bei dem Gerät um ein USB1.1 Adapter der Firma Twinhan (Modell 7042) und dieser ist wohl (lt. linuxtv.org) baugleich mit dem DiBcom USB 1.1...
Nachdem meine ersten Versuche kläglich gescheitert sind wende ich mich an die Profis.
Da ich ein ziemlicher Linuxanfänger bin, wäre es nett, wenn mir jemand Schritt-für-Schritt erklären könnte, wie ich das am besten anstellen soll. :think:
Wenn ihr noch irgendwelche Infos braucht, dann sagt mir, wo ich die herbekomme (mit welchen besfehlen etc.)

Normalerweise (sofern die Adapter unterstützt werden) ist es einfach ein Plug 'n Play ...

Könntest du mal die Ausgabe von dmesg (das gibst du in der konsole ein) hier posten, wenn du den Adapter angesteckt hast ?

Schaut doch gut aus ... normalerweise solltest du nun ein dvb Device haben.

Starte mal kaffeine (oder installiere die dvbtools) und schau mal was kaffeine sagt.
 
also kaffeine hab ich ausprobiert: gleich nach dem starten kam auch ne Meldung, dass ein DVB-Device gefunden wurde, doch dann findet er keine Sender beim Suchlauf, obwohl er für das Signal 90-95% anzeigt. Ich habe dann noch folgende Seite gefunden, habe die Anweisungen befolgt, bin aber trotzdem nicht weiter gekommen...

hab's jetzt zumindest mit "klear" hinbekommen. Mit kaffeine muss ich mich wohl noch ein bisschen rumschlagen müssen..

Hatte das gleiche Problem mit kaffeine. Wenn du die Sender manuell einträgst kannst du auch mit kaffeine schauen. Kanalscan scheint mit dem Treiber Probleme zu haben.

Noch eine kleine Warnung... Bei mir hat die Box wenn sie mit Linux betrieben wurde sich regelmäßig den internen Bootloader zerschossen. Fragt mich nicht wie das sein kann. Fest steht, dass die Box inenrhalb von 2 Monaten 2x defekt war.

Jedesmal war am Vortag noch alles i.O. Dann Rechner gebootet, Treiber geladen und nix...
Es wird zwar ein USB-Device angezeigt, aber die Box lädt die Firmware nicht mehr

Seit ich sie nach Garantieumtausch wieder mit WinXP nutze läuft sie einwandfrei...
