Titelleiste und Desktopeffekte?

Hallo Leute

Ich nutze das neue Ubuntu 7,04...

Nach dem ich ziemlich lange am X-Server herumgebastelt hab, sind plötzlich die Titelleisten der Programme und Ordner weg...

Zu dem funktionieren die Desktop effekte nicht mehr... (würfel)

Bitte um Hilfe. Was tun?

Das wird wohl eher ein Beryl / Compiz Problem sein.
Deaktivier mal deine Dekstop Effekte und guck ob es dann funktioniert.
Deine xorg.conf wäre auserdem wirklich hilfreich.

Von der Datei solltest du übrigens vor jeder änderung ein Backup machen damit dir so etwas gerade nicht passiert.

Es wär gut zu wissen, was genau du überhaupt gemacht hast.

Wenn ich dekstop-effekte deaktiviere, geht alles gewohnt...

Aber wer möchte schon auf die tollen effekte verzichten?

Gibts ne andere Möglichkeit?

Und ja, ich habe xorg.conf gesichert -> xorg.conf.bak

Schreib das mal ans Ende der xorg.conf und guck obs dann geht.

Man weiss es nicht.
Aber ich hab meine alte xorg.conf für beryl mal rausgekramt.
Vll hilft es dir:

Ich probier jetz mal separat nen Treiber von NVidia draufzupatchen...

Naja, wie gesagt:
Bei mir hats so einwandfrei funktioniert.
Mit (fast) der gleichen Karte, und demselben Treiber.

Alles funktioniert... Aber der Würfel nicht... So merkwürdig ...

Habe den Gnome Compiz Preferences Manager neu installiert!
