SuSE 10.2 courier-pop Problem

Hallo!

Ich habe courier auf SuSE Linux 10.2 zu laufen. Im Runlevel läuft der courier-pop Dienst und auch wenn ich und auch bei

chkconfig --list

courier-authdaemon        0:off  1:off  2:off  3:on   4:off  5:on   6:off
courier-imap              0:off  1:off  2:off  3:on   4:off  5:on   6:off
courier-imap-ssl          0:off  1:off  2:off  3:on   4:off  5:on   6:off
courier-pop               0:off  1:off  2:off  3:on   4:off  5:on   6:off
courier-pop-ssl           0:off  1:off  2:off  3:on   4:off  5:on   6:off

läuft er, aber wenn ich telnet auf den Port 110 mache kommt nur das:

telnet localhost 110
Trying 127.0.0.1...
telnet: connect to address 127.0.0.1: Connection refused

Leider weiß nicht, was ich zu einer Analyse noch posten muss, bitte gebt mir daher bescheid. Ich weiß leider nicht, wo ich anfangen soll den Fehler zu finden.
