serial ports an merlin u530 umts karte

hallo forum,

ich habe diese frage schon einmal in einem anderen forum gestellt, leider konnte mir dort aber keiner helfen, ich hoffe ich habe hier mehr glück:

leider bin ich bei meinen eigenen recherchen zu diesem thema nie wirklich auf einen grünen zweig gekommen.

zum problem:
ich habe eine merlin u530 umts karte. an dieser wird auch brav ein serieller port erkannt und ist auch nutzbar (minicom oder ppp). Diese karte hat aber auch einen 2. seriellen port, den man benutzen kann um empfangseigenschaften, sms oder sosntwas zu bekommen ohne offline gehen zu müssen. diesen sieht es auch mit der eigenschaft als serial, benuzt aber den serial_cs treiber nicht. wie bringe ich das ding dazu?

und device 1 am socket 1 will einfach nicht. habe mich auch schon an /etc/pcmcia/config versucht oder auch versucht /etc/pcmcia/serial zu benutzen, klappt aber nicht so wirklich.
